As the clock strikes midnight and we ring in the New Year in the wide-open beauty of Far West Texas, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible camping season we’ve had in 2024. From discovering hidden gems to sharing tips and tricks for RV living, this year has been a memorable journey both on the road and here on the blog. We celebrated more than one birthday as well as several holidays from the road over the past 12 months.  Our Easter trip was just what we needed and my birthday weekend!

2024 Highlights: A Year to Remember
This past year brought countless opportunities to explore, connect, and grow as a camping family. Here are some standout moments from 2024:

1. Upgrading Our RV Life

I cooked a turkey breast in our Dutch Oven for Thanksgiving.  It turned out fantastic.  This will be on our menu next year again!

Our family enjoys biking.  The trails at Gulf State Park became a new favorite for us!

This year we used our hammocks more than we had in previous years, and it was such a welcome way to relax!
